Compass Rose is a small batch, handcrafted Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled by Swamp Fox Distilling Company in Buena Vista, GA that has been aged on (and off) the American road. Using a technique we call Active Aging, our Bourbon is placed into two 30 gallon oak barrels then loaded into the back of our Toyota Land Cruiser. Next it’s time to turn the key, put it in drive, and head out for the open highway. During the expedition, Compass Rose Bourbon is bounced, rattled and shaken for thousands of miles, enduring all kinds of changes in temperature, humidity, and altitude. This dynamic interaction between whiskey and wood results in a one-of-a kind Bourbon that has as many tasting traits as a well-traveled passport has stamps.
